Born in Gippsland, Karen spent much of her life overseas in Zambia, where she was owner and Managing Director of Zambia’s primary exporter of African traditional art, as well as an independent consultant in rural infrastructure development for that industry.

Karen has a broad range of experience and qualifications in leadership, business administration and personal development. She has worked for, with, over, under and beside an interesting array of people and organisations, and it is with this wealth of life experience that she now pours her passion and knowledge into creating The Bodhi Tree – a business that embraces all that is worthwhile.

It is Karen’s strong belief that, in order to lead a meaningful and fulfilling life, it is necessary to nurture our personal and professional growth in a way that promotes harmony not only in our own lives, but in the lives of others, in our business and in our larger community and environment.
