Coolsallagh

In the hills on the Perth side of Toodyay (a little over an hour from The Bodhi Tree) Coolsallagh is home to a number of rescued horses and other horses that either just moved in or, in special cases, were born here. All our horses have become used to the principles of natural horsemanship and, as a result, provide us humans with an opportunity to experience a unique and very special interaction with animals whose relationship with man goes back thousands of years.

In this experience you will be working with our horses on the ground – no riding is required. We are confident that the experience will stretch your creativity, compassion and awareness, developing your instinctive natural skills. Playing with our horses will demonstrate to you the importance of the energy you project every moment of every day, and allow you to see how your emotional state can influence the behaviour of those around you.

In addition you will have the opportunity to work on your communication skills. Communication is recognising the difference between telling and asking. Seeing the difference between asking, wishing and hoping is effective communication. With our horses you will ask not only the how questions - but also the why. Participants quickly experience that power is not an option and title means nothing – your personal strength is explored through earning authority, demonstrating authenticity and gaining trust. Horses don’t care how much you know until you show them how much you care.
